Job summary

Sterling Site Access Solutions LLC is seeking a Credit Analyst to support financial stability by reviewing credit applications, monitoring AR, and making recommendations on risk and collections.

The role requires 3+ years of credit/AR experience, a BA/BS in business, accounting, or finance, and strong Excel/ERP skills. Construction industry background is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position in Illinois.

Qualifications

• 3+ years accounts receivable and credit experience with companies that have at least 100 active customer accounts and AR balances of at least $10 million.
• Able to interpret financial information when making credit decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• Strong user of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in an ERP environment; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Construction industry experience is helpful.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in credit management including receiving and reviewing credit applications from customers, making credit recommendations, and managing customer credit files.
• Manage credit limits against accounts receivable balances and determine when to release orders when credit risk is high.
• Prepare AR reports for management and sales teams.
• Assist accounting in determining allowances for doubtful accounts.
• Provide account statements and invoices to customers needing documentation to pay.
• Provide backup for Credit Manager and AR Specialist.
• Maintain positive interactions with employees and customers.
• Comply with company policies.

Position Summary

The Credit Analyst supports the company’s financial stability by reviewing customer credit applications, managing credit limits, and monitoring accounts receivable. This role involves analyzing financial data, generating reports, and assisting in decisions on credit risk and collections.

Essential Functions

• Assistin credit management including receiving and reviewing credit applications from customers, making credit recommendations, and managing customer credit files.
• Manage credit limits againstaccountsreceivable balances anddeterminingwhen to release customer orders when exceeding credit limit is at risk.
• Accomplish reporting ofaccountsreceivable information to management and sales teams.
• Assistaccounting indeterminingwhen toprovide forslow paying accounts in the allowance for doubtful accounts.
• Provide account statements and invoices to customers that needadditionaldocumentation to make payments.
• Provide backup for Credit Manager and Accounts Receivable Specialist.
• Interact positively with company employees and customers.
• Comply withcompany policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 3 years accounts receivable and credit experience with companies that have at least 100 active customer accounts with balances and accounts receivable balances of at least $10 million.
• Be well versed in all aspects of customer credit and collection.
• Be capable of interpreting financial information when making credit decisions.
• B.S. degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• Strong user of Microsoft Excel.
• Work experience in an ERP environment. Microsoft Dynamics experience would be most important.
• Experience in the construction industry would bevery helpful.
• Strong communicationskills.
