Credentials Coordinator Charge Capture Associate (Outpatient)

Evening Shift - 5 x 8s, typically M - F but possible weekend as well. 4pm to 12:30am. Strong data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and validate outpatient credentialing and charge capture details end-to-end.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies to prevent claim denials.
• Maintain compliance with payer policies, HIPAA, and organizational guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in all actions.
• Ensure accurate patient demographics and insurance information for claims submission.
• Monitor pipeline and metrics to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, and clinic staff to streamline workflows.
• Document all workflow steps and updates in the case management system.
• Provide timely feedback and escalation for complex credentialing issues.
• Analyze trends in submitted charges to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members to improve performance.
• Support on-site operations with proactive issue resolution and downtime minimization.
