Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, seeks a Credentialing Official within the Protective Services Division to oversee identity creation, enrollment, and badge credentialing for local personnel. You will manage badge lifecycle activities and ensure accurate records across access systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with internal and external customers,

Qualifications

• Typically requires a High School diploma with a minimum of six years related experience.
• Associate degree with a minimum of one-year related experience.
• Strong understanding of government vetting & credentialing procedures (i.e., HSPD-12, NASA Procedural Requirements) preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and visitor management systems.
• Ability to learn, interpret, and explain governmental rules and procedures.
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Collection and processing of electronic fingerprints for identity verification and credentialing activities.
• Review and verification of documentation for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility for credential issuance.
• Manage badge lifecycle activities including renewals, replacements, updates, suspensions, and terminations.
• Maintain accurate records and update credentialing information in access management systems/databases.
• Facilitate and monitor online requests to ensure timely processing and compliance with federal security protocols.
