Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to ensure timely completion of initial and recredentialing applications. You will assist with documentation, verifications, and data entry to maintain an accurate physician database and support RHM onboarding and reappointment processes.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with emphasis on meeting processing time thresholds and maintaining confidentiality in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of post-high school education, training, or experience; associate degree preferred.
• One year of work experience in health care environment.
• Knowledge of NCQA and TJC standards, NPDB guidelines, hospital policies/procedures.
• Knowledge and experience with database organization and management, report-generating languages, Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in credentialing process and scheduling reappointments.
• Perform file audits and provide feedback on credentialing files.
• Train and orient new team members.
• Data entry to maintain physician database accuracy and integration of RHMs into CVO system.
• Communicate with applicants and RHMs to complete credentialing requirements on time.
