Job summary

Qualifications

• High School GED General Studies or High School Diploma required.
• Solid knowledge of medical credentialing procedures and hospital operations.
• Strong informational research skills and ability to interpret regulatory requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full lifecycle of credentialing and re-credentialing for Medical Staff and APPs.
• Perform background investigations and primary source verifications for practitioner applications.
• Manage credentialing database, generate reports and queries to track progress and expirables.
• Identify discrepancies, resolve credentialing issues, and prepare comprehensive files for review.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and external healthcare organizations to facilitate audits and managed care reviews.
