Job summary

The Orthopaedic Center, part of Huntsville Hospital, is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage credentialing and enrollment for licensed providers and to coordinate hospital privileges.

Responsibilities include maintaining licenses/DEA registrations, revalidations, and enrolling new locations with insurers. Proficiency with EMR/PM systems and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required.
• Two years’ AR/Credentialing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage credentialing and enrollment for licensed providers including physicians, PAs, NPs, PTs and OTs.
• Coordinate hospital privileges and maintain provider licenses and DEA registrations.
• Ensure timely revalidation and re-enrollment with insurance companies.
• Enroll new locations and service lines with insurance carriers.
• Utilize credentialing software to process applications and maintain provider data.
• Communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.
