Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Credentialing and Provider Enrollment Specialist to coordinate all credentialing activities for licensed providers across medical, dental and behavioral health services. The role ensures timely and accurate processing of enrollments with Medicare, Medicaid, and other programs, while maintaining licensure and certifications.

Qualifications

College degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with relevant experience.
NAMSS CPCS certification preferred or actively pursuing; certification within two years is desirable.
Experience in credentialing and/or provider enrollment is preferred.
Experience with credentialing software (MD Staff preferred).

Responsibilities

Coordinate credentialing processes for licensed providers in medical, dental and behavioral health departments.
Ensure credentialed providers meet policies, guidelines, regulations, and laws.
Process applications and reappointments with completeness and accuracy.
Maintain and audit credentialing files and monitor licensure expirations.
Enter/log/scan credentialing data into MD Staff software for initial and ongoing applications.
Provide timely correspondence and reports to leadership and providers.
Support monthly Clinical Credentialing Committee meetings as needed.
Maintain secure paper credentialing files and collaborate with facilities.
