Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage the complete initial credentialing and privileging process for new medical staff and allied health applicants. You will work with the Director of Medical Staff Services to ensure compliance with bylaws, Joint Commission standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical staff services with duties that involved medical staff and allied health credentialing.
  • Managed care or other healthcare environment preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft products (Word, Excel); data entry accuracy critical.
  • Excellent/professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire initial credentialing and privileging process for new medical staff and allied health professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Medical Staff Services to maintain compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Joint Commission Standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prioritize tasks with resourcefulness, good judgment and strong organizational skills.
