Job summary

Gentiva is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to oversee the credentialing and licensure lifecycle for contracted physicians in the Atlanta, GA area. You will manage records, stay compliant with regulations, and collaborate with Legal and HR functions to ensure accurate onboarding and ongoing credentialing processes.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of data processing experience in healthcare or compliance, with expert Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of data processing experience, preferably in healthcare/compliance.
• Excellent data processing and Excel skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of contracted physician credentialing and licensure requirements.
• Develop and manage processes and records to maintain accurate credential files.
• Serve as liaison between credentialing and other departments.
• Ensure credentialing database is accessible to assigned users.
• Administer onboarding and offboarding of contracted physicians, including dictation and e-prescribing systems.
• Collaborate with Legal to draft physician agreements.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings and special projects.
