Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage the full credentialing cycle for New York State-sponsored Early Intervention and special education programs.

Responsibilities include processing packets, maintaining provider data, auditing credentialing files, and supporting continuing education documentation. The role requires strong organization and communication within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience working in an office (preferably healthcare).
• Team player who adapts to change and can switch tasks and priorities seamlessly.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a large volume of emails/calls.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet timelines.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process new hire packets and obtain documentation for program compliance.
• Follow up for expiring/expired documentation to maintain compliance.
• Update provider information in databases (status, program, name, addresses).
• Process submitted provider documentation and training certificates.
• Participate in internal/external credentialing audits and special projects.
• Maintain mailboxes and internal database for document processing.
• Assist in processing and issuing continuing education workshop certificates and hours.
• Maintain relationships with Recruiting and Provider Relations teams.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for the full credentialing cycle of Achieve Beyond providers for New York State-sponsored Early Intervention and special education programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process new hire packets and follow up with providers to obtain all needed documentation for program compliance
• Follow up with providers for expiring and expired documentation to ensure providers remain in compliance
• Update provider information in databases, including status, program, name, address changes, etc.
• Process submitted provider documentation and training certificates
• Participate in internal and external credentialing audits and special projects
• Maintain mailboxes and internal database for document processing
• Assist in the processing and issuing of continuing education workshop certificates and hours
• Maintain strong relationship with internal departments, such as Recruiting and Provider Relations
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Physical Requirements of the Role:

• Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
• The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Compensation: Full-time $21-$24per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:30pm
