Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process initial credentialing and recredentialing applications for healthcare providers.
• Verify and update provider information including licenses, certifications, education, work history and malpractice coverage.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and accreditation standards.
• Monitor and track expiration dates for licenses and certifications and notify providers of renewals.
• Facilitate enrollment and participation with insurance networks and government programs.
• Maintain payer contracts and resolve credentialing issues.
• Maintain accurate records in credentialing databases and generate status reports.
