Job summary

PAM Health Corporate Office is seeking a Credentialing Support Specialist to aid in credentialing and re-credentialing for our network across multiple states. The role involves data-driven task management, documentation preparation, and proactive communication with payors to keep credentialing cycles on track.

The position requires 2+ years in healthcare enrollment or credentialing, strong MS 365 skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; higher education considered.
• Two or more years of experience in healthcare enrollment, credentialing, or medical practice operations.
• Experience in a role requiring high-volume data collection and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications, tracking renewals 60 days before expiration.
• Maintain records of credentialing communications, submissions and approvals.
• Proactively communicate with payors to ensure end-to-end credentialing cycles.
• Verify/audit provider directory information within Payor databases.
• Audit internal credentialing databases.
• Coordinate timely recredentialing to avoid plan termination risk.
• Prepare rosters for submission to payors.
• Assist in collecting, verifying, organizing necessary documentation for applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues hindering timely plan participation.
