Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Credentialing Program Manager to direct and monitor credentialing, recredentialing and privileging for physicians and allied health practitioners. You will ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory standards and serve as a primary contact during the application process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Degree or three years credentialing experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• In-depth understanding of provider credentialing, privileging and recredentialing processes, including regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Proficiency in credentialing software and databases to track credentials and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor credentialing, recredentialing and privileging processes to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform primary source verifications and maintain integrity of credentialing data.
• Lead coordination with medical staff leadership and committees on credentialing matters.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage stakeholder communications throughout the credentialing cycle.
• Support education and training in credentialing for new technology and procedures.
