Job summary

Solaris Health Holdings LLC is seeking a Credentialing Specialist Supervisor to oversee credentialing activities for physicians across managed care plans, Medicare, and Medicaid. The role includes maintaining licensure, CME credits, and hospital privileges, with oversight of the Credentialing Specialist(s).

The position requires supervision experience and a strong emphasis on HIPAA, confidentiality, and timely renewals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years credentialing experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of licensure, malpractice information and CME tracking.
• Experience with physician credentialing across plans and PECOS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Credentialing Specialist(s).
• Oversee full physician credentialing process across plans.
• Maintain central physician files, licenses, CME credits, and hospital privileges.
• Renew professional licenses and monitor board eligibility.
• Manage Medicaid/Medicare enrollment (PECOS) for practitioners.
• Notify licensing/monitoring needs to ensure timely renewals.
• Coordinate with Administration and RCM to include providers in plans.
• Respond to credentialing, licensing, and renewal inquiries.
• Maintain activity logs and ensure timely conclusions.
