Job summary

Meds.com is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to support credentialing and licensing for our Medical Team, including NPs and RNs. You will maintain provider credentials, assist with licensing initiatives, and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include onboarding and maintaining credentialing with state boards, performing primary source verifications, obtaining licenses, and helping develop internal credentialing processes.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of credentialing experience required.
• Knowledge of credentialing principles, best practices, and medical terminology.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and heavy workload with a positive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes/challenges.
• People-oriented and collaborative.
• Strong ability to prioritize and coordinate day-to-day tasks.
• Discretion and confidentiality in communications with applicants.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and maintain credentialing of providers with state boards.
• Manage and review credentialing files for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform primary source verifications via state and national sources.
• Obtain new and renewed state licenses for providers.
• Contribute to development of internal credentialing processes.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, regulations, and policies.
