Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System's Olathe Hospital is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to manage credentialing and onboarding for physicians and allied health providers. You will support medical staff functions, maintain files, and ensure compliance with CMS, The Joint Commission, and NCQA standards.

Responsibilities include gathering verification documentation, coordinating with staff, meeting deadlines, attending meetings, taking minutes, and assisting with audits and reports.

Qualifications

• Coordinate credentialing and onboarding of physicians and allied health providers.
• Provide admin support for medical staff functions including credentialing files, bylaws, policies, and committee support.
• Serve as a resource for CMS, The Joint Commission, and NCQA regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate gathering and verification of primary source documentation for new applicants and reappointments.
• Respond to database report requests in collaboration with credentialing staff.
• Meet deadlines and handle time-sensitive information.
• Perform monthly monitoring activities per regulatory guidelines.
• Assist leadership in implementing processes for regulatory compliance in credentialing and privileging.
• Collaborate with provider enrollment and Medical Staff Office to ensure receipt and confirmation of required documentation.
• Attend meetings and take minutes as assigned.
• Maintain credentials files and filing of information.
• Support office by screening calls and assisting colleagues in absence.
• Foster partnerships internally and externally and model integrity.
