Job summary

Prime Healthcare is a renowned health system headquartered in Ontario, California, and operates 54 hospitals with 360+ outpatient locations across 15 states. This credentialing role supports the Medical Group by handling applications, reappointments, proctoring and competencies, while interfacing with physicians, management and co-workers in a positive, professional manner.

The position is full-time with daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in Credentialing or relevant training and/or experience.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist Preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintains and communicates status of work progress, and anticipates work production scheduling requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written, oral and graphic forms.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently complete assignments with no supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Ability to function in a demanding environment by navigating multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively supporting a busy Medical Group. This position is responsible for assigned Medical Staff as assigned by Credentialing Supervisor. Facilitates all aspects of credentialing including applications, reappointments, proctoring and competencies. Interfaces with physicians, management, and co-workers in a positive and professional manner.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Proven work experience in Credentialing or relevant training and/or experience.
2. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist Preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $56,160.00 to $75,753.60 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
