Job summary

Primary Health Solutions is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage credentialing, recredentialing, and licensure verification for clinical staff. This role ensures HRSA, CMS, and state licensing compliance while maintaining accurate provider records throughout the employment lifecycle.

The position does not handle payer enrollment or billing. Candidates should have healthcare credentialing experience and strong attention to detail for audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare credentialing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with HRSA/CMS credentialing and privileging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates initial credentialing and recredentialing for licensed clinical staff and providers.
• Performs primary source verification for licenses, education, board certifications, and exclusions.
• Maintains accurate credentialing files in alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Tracks expirations and supports timely renewals and documentation.
