Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Irving, TX is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to manage the credentialing process for physicians and allied health professionals, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinate with medical staff and administration.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, tracking applications, onboarding staff, maintaining credential databases, and advising leadership on process improvements to support timely appointments and accreditation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports, minutes, special projects/presentations, accreditation/certification reports, correspondence, email and student handbook materials.
• Answer incoming calls and exercise discretion in determining task urgency and priority.
• Manage and coordinate assigned programs.
• Develop and adhere to timelines for completing the initial screening of program applications and the accreditation process.
• May create/manage a tracking system designed to ensure each applicant is making appropriate and timely advance through the application process.
• May create a system for onboarding new residents or other medical staff.
• Manage and integrate calendars.
• Coordinate/maintain handouts and training materials.
• Manage registration & credentialing process & any required documentation.
• Manage projects and timelines to achieve highest quality work within allotted period.
• Update on a daily basis the database for credentials.
• Recommend process improvements & present information to leadership.
• Responsible for all phases of preparation for staff meetings including production of agenda, documents for review and preparation of staff in advance to facilitate informed participation.
