Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst in healthcare.
• Experience with credentialing data and regulatory reporting preferred.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• Ability to translate regulatory needs into reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Credentialing Department’s primary business analyst and reporting liaison with Analytics Center of Excellence, BI, Epic teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendor partners to develop and maintain Credentialing reporting and analytics.
• Lead development and enhancement of Credentialing reporting and dashboards, including regulatory, accreditation, operational, and quality metrics.
• Translate operational and regulatory needs into clear reporting requirements, data specifications, and validation criteria.
• Maintain knowledge of CMS, NCQA, DHA, MDH and other reporting/audit requirements and ensure ready reporting and audit details.
• Perform QA and validation of reports, dashboards, data extracts, and metrics; investigate data integrity issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate data from multiple systems to produce complete Credentialing reporting.
• Establish definitions, rules, data sources, calculation methods, and validation processes for key metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and compliance risks; translate findings into actionable insights.
• Partner with leadership to automate reporting, improve data quality, and strengthen oversight.
• Maintain documentation for requirements, definitions, data sources, and validation history.
