At VCA Bakerstown Animal Hospitals, we are looking for an experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join and lead our vet tech team! Our AHAA accredited, Cat Friendly and Fear Free Certified hospital is located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. In the supervisor role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Directing work flow on the floor
• Assisting in the educational development of technicians and their skills
• Helping with the interview process for potential new hires
• Technician Scheduling
• Assisting in staffing and coverage where needed
• Assisting in basic protocol and standard procedure training
• Providing opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
• Mentoring technicians within the department
• Working with department doctors to develop protocols to improve the service
• Ensuring that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.

The pay range for this position is up to $24.50.
