Job summary

East Padden Animal Hospital in Vancouver, WA, is hiring a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our large, multi-doctor team. You will provide comprehensive patient care, monitor anesthesia, perform lab work, and support nursing duties as part of a collaborative medical staff.

You'll work under the guidelines of the veterinary act, mentor teammates, educate clients about treatments, and help maintain our high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia and performing lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and growth.
• Educate clients on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions confidently.
• Participate in training and maintain high standards of hospital culture.
