Job summary

East Padden Animal Hospital, LLC in Vancouver, WA seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a large, established team. You will provide comprehensive patient care, monitor anesthesia, and perform lab work while mentoring others to grow their skills.

You will partner with clients, review medical records, and help maintain our high standards of care in a supportive hospital environment. AVMA credentials and license required or in good standing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, anesthesia monitoring, dental care, radiology and lab procedures.
• Calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and growth.
• Partner with clients to educate on treatments and review medical records.
• Contribute to a positive culture through training and ongoing feedback.
