Job summary
Mission Pet Health seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a dynamic medical team. Responsibilities include administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work while mentoring teammates.
You will educate pet owners, review medical records, and support a positive hospital culture. AVMA- accredited training and an active license in good standing are required, with a preference for 1 year of veterinary experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Licensed veterinary technician in good standing in your state.
- Experience with nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and lab procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administer treatments and monitor anesthesia as part of the medical team.
- Perform nursing tasks, lab work, and related clinical duties.
- Lead and mentor the medical team to maintain efficient workflows.
- Partner with clients: educate on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions.
- Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training and feedback.
