Job summary

Harbor Point Animal Hospital in Mooresville, NC seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a team known for great medicine and collaboration. You will assist in surgery, monitor anesthesia, run diagnostics, and communicate clearly with clients throughout patient care.

CVT/RVT/LVT credentials and 3+ years of clinical experience are preferred. Fear Free handling and a passion for pets help you thrive in our supportive, growth‑minded practice.

We're looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician who wants to be part of a team known for great medicine, genuine teamwork, and a commitment to doing right by every patient that walks through our doors.

What You'll Do

• Assist in surgery, monitor anesthesia, run diagnostics, and support dental cleanings
• Place catheters, draw blood, and collect samples
• Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues throughout patient care
• Work alongside the team in a collaborative, hands-on environment
• Apply Fear Free handling techniques to keep pets calm and comfortable

What We're Looking For

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT)
• Experienced Veterinary Assistants with 3+ years of strong clinical experience are also encouraged to apply
• Confidence in catheter placement, blood draws, and sample collection
• Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment where every voice matters
• Ready to grow in a practice that invests in your development

Bonus Points If You

• Are familiar with Fear Free Handling
• Love speaking with clients about their pet's care
• Are a team player always looking to learn and teach

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, Day shift
• 10-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends
• Holiday coverage as part of the rotation
• Pay range is $23-26/hr based on skills & experience.
