Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT)

Banfield Pet Hospital is hiring full-time and part-time CVTs at the following Hospital locations:

• Manchester Hospital: 777 South Willow St, Manchester, NH 03103
• Concord Hospital: 299 Loudon Rd, Concord, NH 03301
• Merrimack Hospital: 81 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH 03054
• Salem Tuscan Village Hospital: 12 South Village Dr, Unit 400, Salem, NH 03079

The anticipated starting hourly rate for interested candidates is $24 to $34 per hour, depending on schedule, location, experience, skills, and abilities.

Requirements

• Veterinary Technician Licensure, Certification, or Registration (LVT, CVT, or RVT)
• Or Vet Tech students in the process of graduating and completing accreditation

Role responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist with hospital functions to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures as per state regulations for credentialed technicians.
• Communicate with clients about pet health concerns, wellness plans, medications, and treatments.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records using practice systems like PetWare.
• Gather health histories and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and keep treatment areas clean and organized.
• Mentor and support fellow team members.
