PawMed Veterinary Urgent Care (Charleston) is hiring a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our on-site team in Charleston, SC. You will deliver comprehensive patient care, assist with anesthesia, and perform lab work alongside experienced veterinarians.

We emphasize education, collaboration, and a strong culture within a nationwide network. We value AVMA-accredited training, licensure in good standing, and at least one year in the veterinary field.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and lab procedures.
• Calm and efficient in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care including treatments, anesthesia monitoring, and lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team for efficient workflow.
• Educate clients on treatments and review medical records.
• Maintain high standards and contribute to a positive hospital culture.
