Position Highlights:

• Shift Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Possibly off on Wednesday afternoons and working with Provider on Friday afternoons until 5 pm.
• Department: Urology
• Location: 140 Charlois Blvd, Winston Salem, NC
• Additional duties over 50% of the day in the lab working with specimens, micro urines.

How You’ll Impact Patient Care:

Your responsibilities as a CMA include, but are not limited to:

• Providing exceptional patient care and supporting efficient medical operations.
• Managing clerical tasks, scheduling, and assisting with examinations and procedures.
• Conducting patient interviews, recording vital signs, and documentation.
• Preparing examination rooms, administering medications, and following infection control policies.
• Maintaining medication records and adhering to point-of-care testing policies.

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.

Current Medical Assistant certification from one of the following is required:

• CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), NCMA (NCCT), RMA (AMT, Allied Health, NHCWA, NAHP, NRMA).
