Job summary

UI Health Otolaryngology ENT Clinic in Chicago, IL is seeking a Credentialed/Certified Medical Assistant to support outpatient care. Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) per approved certifying boards (AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA).
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing/medical staff with preliminary assessment, education and documentation of patient condition.
• Obtain vital signs and conduct patient screenings during intake.
• Assist with procedures, injections and specimen collection as appropriate.
• Maintain patient records and assist with EHR usage and charting.
• Support office reception and cash collection processes.
