Job summary

Patreon is seeking Software Engineering Interns to support our mission of empowering the creator economy. Based in San Francisco or New York, the internship is 12 weeks with a hybrid in-office requirement of three days per week.

The program runs May–August 2027 or June–September 2027 for students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028. You will work with a world-class engineering team, building and shipping features that directly impact creators.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics).
• Strong foundation in CS fundamentals and data structures.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship a feature that supports the creator economy and helps creators turn passions into sustainable careers.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to bring projects to life.
