Job summary

Patreon is seeking Software Engineering Interns to join our hybrid engineering teams in San Francisco or New York. The 12-week summer program runs May–August 2027 (or June–September 2027), designed for students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to build features that empower creators and sustain their careers, with mentorship and opportunities to grow your technical skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundation in CS fundamentals and data structures.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features that support the creator economy.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists.
• Receive mentorship from an experienced engineer and gain hands-on experience.
• Participate in team activities and events.
