Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a senior corrugate structural designer to take ownership of design projects from concept through production. You will analyze customer specifications, determine layout, and create instruction sheets for final displays.

Collaboration with Sales and clients is essential, with opportunities to train staff and oversee the Creative department in leadership gaps. The role requires a college degree in a related field and at least seven years of corrugate structural design

College degree in related field.
7+ years corrugate structural designer experience.

Responsibilities

Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
Confer with clients and Sales representatives to discuss and review customer requirements.
Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations and determine capability with equipment we sell.
Review final layouts, give approval, explain, demonstrate and suggest improvements to clients and Sales Representatives as needed.
Use computer software to generate new images and customize to meet division needs.
Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
Research new software or design concepts.
Provide training and ongoing guidance to staff members, developing employee potential.
Evaluate, program, and purchase equipment used in the department to develop products and services.
