THE STANDARD 8TH AVENUE RESTAURANT is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to craft innovative menus and prepare exceptional meals.

The ideal candidate excels in leadership, creativity, and delivering high-quality dishes that wow our guests. The role requires extensive culinary experience, strong leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Extensive culinary experience preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification required.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes.

Responsabilités

• Create innovative menus according to seasonal availability and customer expectations.
• Prepare and plate food according to kitchen specifications.
• Assist Executive Chef to increase revenue and profit.
• Supervise and coordinate all food preparation and presentation.
• Provide training and leadership for kitchen staff.
• Maintain inventory levels and negotiate with vendors for high-quality products at best price.
• Follow all food safety rules and regulations.
