Riverhead Financial Partners seeks a creative, hands-on Social Media Manager to lead our content strategy. You will own daily social presence, craft engaging content, and translate milestones and industry insights into compelling posts from the Riverhead office in Melville.

You’ll film, edit, and publish short-form videos, write captions with hooks, and collaborate with leadership to uncover stories that reinforce our brand across channels.

Qualifications

• Experience creating social media content across platforms.
• Strong writing and storytelling abilities for captions and hooks.
• Ability to analyze content performance and iterate.

Responsibilities

• Own Riverhead Financial Partners’ day-to-day social media presence.
• Develop and execute social media strategies across relevant platforms.
• Create original, engaging content and trend-aware ideas.
• Develop concepts for short-form videos, graphics, photography, campaigns, and recurring content series.
• Film and capture content in and around the office.
• Edit short-form video content for social media.
• Create or coordinate branded graphics and visual assets.
• Write captions, hooks, headlines, and supporting social copy.
• Maintain a consistent publishing schedule and content calendar.
• Monitor emerging social media trends and formats.
• Identify trends to adapt for the Riverhead brand.
• Turn company milestones and announcements into compelling content.
• Highlight Riverhead’s people, culture, technology, and capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales and leadership to identify stories worth showcasing.
• Help develop executive and employee-facing content when appropriate.
• Manage comments, engagement, and brand interactions.
