Job summary

The Memphis Grizzlies are seeking a creative and qualified individual to lead social and digital content for the Memphis Hustle and support the Memphis Grizzlies. The role focuses on content creation, production, and promotion across social channels with goals to drive fan engagement and ticket sales.

You will develop strategies for social acquisition campaigns, manage the department’s social distribution calendar, and edit assets for social use while staying aligned with brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast, Communications, Journalism, Photography or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in a digital media role with a brand.
• Superior written and verbal skills with editorial judgment.
• Experience with short-form video creation including shooting, lighting, audio, editing, color correction and motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and basic video/audio editing; Premiere/After Effects preferred.
• Strong project management and ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage content for Memphis Hustle and Memphis Grizzlies social pages across platforms.
• Lead coverage for games, post-game updates, highlights, and event content.
• Edit photos/videos/graphics for social use under brand guidelines.
• Develop content plans tailored to each platform’s best practices.
• Support social/digital campaigns and data acquisition strategies.
• Identify trends and opportunities on emerging platforms and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with marketing to optimize reach and engagement.
