Utah Jazz is seeking a Social Media Producer who is basketball-obsessed and mobile-native. This role elevates our brand across Jazz social channels, delivering fast-paced storytelling, expert copy, and original short-form video content. You will execute a content strategy for the NBA’s global audience while reflecting our Mountain basketball ethos.

Applicants must provide a portfolio for review and be prepared to work nights, weekends, and holidays to capture content across home games and events.

Qualifications

• A strong portfolio of previous video work is mandatory.
• 2-4 years working experience in sports preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Media, Communications, Marketing, similar programs or demonstrated experience.
• Exceptional written communication skills with strict attention to grammar, tone, and brand compliance.
• Deep understanding of platform algorithms, native editing tools, and distribution tactics across TikTok, IG Reels, X, YouTube Shorts, and Threads.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Publish daily across X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Facebook and emerging channels using enterprise social management tools.
• Capture, edit, and publish high-energy, real-time content during home games, practices, events.
• Write sharp, platform-tailored copy reflecting the Utah Jazz brand voice.
• Monitor analytics and audience sentiment to optimize post timing and content hooks.
• Collaborate with photographers, video producers and designers on multi-channel campaigns.
• Identify emerging platform features and trends, adapting them to the Jazz brand voice.
• Ideate, shoot and edit vertical video content daily showcasing player personalities.
• Assist in planning and maintaining the social calendar with senior leadership.
• Partner with Marketing, Partnerships, Ticketing, and Community Relations to integrate partner deliverables.
