Job summary

You will maintain food safety, portioning, sanitation, and customer service while adapting to client needs. A background in food preparation and ability to obtain food safety certification is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation methods and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to recipes and production guidelines.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, chopping, and portioning.
• Safely uses knives and other utensils and operates ovens and stoves.
• Bakes, roasts, steams, and uses diverse cooking methods.
• Cares for food safety, sanitation, and proper storage.
• Maintains clean work areas and positive guest interactions.
