Job description

Who We Are:

At Bishop-McCann (BMC), we create experiences that move people. As a global event and experience agency, we partner with clients to design and deliver meaningful moments that connect, inspire, and drive impact. Behind every experience is a team that values collaboration, innovation, and accountability. We believe our people are at the center of everything we do, and we are committed to building an environment where individuals can grow, contribute, and make a meaningful difference.

Our Core Values:

Curiosity: We go beyond conventional boundaries to deliver creative solutions and are always asking, listening, and learning. Collaboration: We believe teamwork drives greater results than that of an individual. Impact: We aspire to defy expectations and deliver the highest standards in the industry. Inclusion: We create an environment where every voice is valued, every perspective is welcomed, and everyone has a seat and a say at the table.

Who You Are:

You are the operational engine of a creative team. You know great creative doesn't happen by accident; it happens because someone builds the conditions for it: the timeline, the budget, and the flow of work that lets designers, writers, video producers, and digital teams do what they do best. You thrive at the intersection of account teams, creative disciplines, and clients, directing the flow of projects, protecting scope and schedule, and making sure the right work reaches the right hands at the right time. You manage multiple programs at once, each with its own timeline, budget, and moving parts, and when priorities shift, you are the calm center that re-sequences the work and keeps the team moving.

The Role At a Glance:
  • Title: Creative Project Manager
  • Reports to: Creative Operations Lead
  • Department: Creative & Production
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
  • Location: Remote (U.S.), onsite travel required for assigned events
  • Salary Range: $72,000–$92,000, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
Project Intake & Workflow
  • Own project intake, scoping, and kickoff for creative work, with clear briefs, deliverables, and dates, in partnership with account teams and creative leads.
  • Own meeting cadence, working with Logistics to get on client calendars and scheduling internal meetings with ICRs.
  • Build and drive project schedules across print, digital, content, video, and animation workstreams, from concept through final delivery.
  • Direct content and asset flow between account management, creative teams, and clients, including reviews, routing, approvals, and version control.
  • Run all active projects inside our project management system, keeping status, priorities, and capacity visible to the team and to leadership.
  • Coordinate handoffs across departments for estimation, production, fulfillment, and onsite delivery so nothing falls in the gaps between teams.
Budget & Resourcing
  • Manage project budgets: build estimates with team leads, track hours and materials against scope, process invoices, and flag scope creep early before it becomes a margin problem.
  • Plan resourcing with discipline leads, determining the hours and materials each project needs and balancing workload across concurrent programs.
Production & Onsite Delivery
  • Oversee print production coordination, including vendor timelines, proofing, and press checks.
  • Manage the intersection of creative and onsite production, coordinating how creative deliverables translate to the live environment (staging, scenic, AV, screen content, signage, and show flow) and tracking production elements through onsite delivery.
  • Be onsite for assigned events to coordinate changes to scripting, content, and flow, and to project manage creative needs onsite.
Ideation & Process Improvement
  • Contribute to content development and creative ideation: participate in brainstorms, help shape session content and program narratives, and bring structure to ideation strategies so good ideas become executable plans.
  • Create, document, and continuously improve the workflows, templates, and systems that help this team scale.
  • Bring JOY to how you work: candor when the timeline is at risk, optimism when the brief changes, and respect for every craft in the building.
