Job summary

Mad Realities is seeking a Creative Producer to lead a 2-day pilot production in the beauty space. You will manage talent, editors and designers, ensuring on-brand execution from pre- to post-production.

You should have a proven ability to create viral short-form content and stay ahead of TikTok/IG/YouTube trends, with on-set work in NYC 1–2 days per week and potential for full-time opportunities on additional shows.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging video content.
• 3+ years of experience in producing short form (under 3min), viral content.
• Strong POV on beauty creators + trends (TikTok/IG/YouTube).

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end production for 2-day pilot shoot.
• Manage a small team including talent, production personnel, editors and designers.
• Stay on top of current style trends to implement in the episode.
• Ensure high-quality execution from pre-production through post-production.
• Ensure standard releases are signed.
• Adhere to budget guidelines.
• Help with guest casting for the pilot.
• Own the creative vision on set.
• Develop and pitch storylines for the pilot episodes.
• Be able to improvise with real people as guests and authentic settings.
• Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in video production.
• Implement feedback to improve show output.
• Manage multiple shoot projects and tight deadlines.
• Bonus: make revisions to edits using Adobe Premiere

About The Role

Mad Realities is piloting a new format in the beauty space with a high-profile creator. Specifics are under wraps for now, but we’re looking for a rockstar creative producer who can work with the Mad Realities team to creatively architect the pilot episode of this very exciting new vertical show. If you have experience creating viral shows, care about making meaningful content, are well-versed in the online beauty community, and have experience working with high-level talent, please apply!!

This job is part time but has a potential to become a full time opportunity as a creative producer on multiple shows.

Title: Creative Producer

• Overseeing the end-to-end entire production process for 2 day pilot-shoot
• Manage a small team, including: talent, production personnel, editors, and designers, to run the show
• Stay on top of current style trends to help implement into the episode
• Ensure high-quality execution from pre-production through post-production
• Ensure our standard releases are signed
• Adhere to budget guidelines
• Help with guest casting for the pilot
• Owning the creative vision on set
• Develop and pitch storylines to help flesh out the pilot episodes
• Able to improvise with real people as guests and authentic settings
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video production and digital content creation
• Understand, evaluate, and implement feedback from the team to improve the quality of show output
• Manage multiple shoot projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• [Bonus Points] Be capable of making revisions to edits yourself using Adobe Premiere

Qualifications

• Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging video content
• 3+ years of experience in producing short form (under 3min), viral content
• ++ for experience in executing a creative that became a hit show
• +++ for experience with documentary-style content
• Strong POV on beauty creators + trends (TikTok/IG/YouTube)
• Passion for storytelling and strong narrative building skills
• Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere
• Strong understanding of social platforms and related trends
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the style + beauty space
