The Michaels store in Spokane is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan and run in-store events including children’s parties and crafts, while delivering friendly customer service and a fast checkout experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, engaging customers of all ages, teaching crafts, and supporting stock and store operations, with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and creating a joyful environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once within the Michaels store, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and engaging environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities.
• Facilitate add-ons like goody bags and balloons in line with company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members; handle emails and calls.
• Support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store as needed.
• Assist with stocking, planograms, and store recovery tasks.
