Job summary

Michaels is seeking an energetic events coordinator for the ATL-McDONOUGH, GA store to plan and run in-store events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes. You will engage customers, guide them through purchases, and support checkout while promoting rewards and credit programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, assisting with BOPIS/SFS, and maintaining store appearance and safety. Retail and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members; answer emails and calls.
• Assist with omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS; participate in stocking and planograms.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and recovery standards; support SOPs.
