Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an energetic Events Coordinator at the Fort Oglethorpe, GA store to plan and run children's parties and in-store events. You will assist customers, guide project activities, and ensure seamless event delivery with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

You’ll engage guests of all ages, manage logistics, and support omnichannel processes while maintaining store standards and teamwork in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages, creating a fun and creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in crafts and activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Answer emails, make phone calls, and complete paperwork as needed.
• Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs.
• Create backup or emergency plans and ensure client satisfaction.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards; set up and break down events.
