Michaels in Portage, MI is seeking an energetic events coordinator to plan and run children's parties and other craft events within the store. You will engage customers of all ages, assist with checkout, and support day-to-day operations while promoting our rewards programs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events at the Michaels store in Portage, MI, including children’s parties and craft classes.
• Engage with customers of all ages to provide a fun, creative environment.
• Assist customers, run checkout, and support store operations per SOPs.
• Educate customers about Rewards programs and private label credit cards.
• Assist with VOC surveys, BOPIS/SFS processes, and stock/planogram tasks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, set up and break down events, and communicate with team members.
