The Standard High Line in New York is seeking a Painter for a part-time temporary role to maintain and renovate hotel interiors through painting, touchups, and finishing work.

You will mix, match, and apply paints and finishes, prepare surfaces, and use brushes and spray equipment, with a focus on detail and quality. Requires at least 2 years of related experience and fluent English; on-site schedule with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in painting or related field.
• Ability to comprehend and follow established procedures.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance of hotel surfaces through paint jobs and touchups.
• Apply paint to surfaces, including walls, floors, doors, cabinets, etc.
• Mix, match and apply paint, shellac, enamel, and other finishes.
• Scrape, sand, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting.
• Estimate materials and costs; manage inventory.
