Job summary

Capital City College in London is seeking an Apprentice Technician to support and drive operational functions across learning and media facilities. The role involves assisting with production spaces setup, equipment maintenance, and providing frontline technical support to staff and students.

You will collaborate with teaching and technical teams to prepare resources, manage inventories, and support post-production workflows, ensuring smooth delivery of creative projects across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience in creative and digital media environments is beneficial.
• Apprentices work across film, TV, podcasting, photography, and digital content creation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support to staff and students.
• Set up production spaces including television studios, podcast studios, green screen facilities, and editing suites.
• Manage equipment inventories and issue loans, monitor condition and perform basic maintenance.
• Support post-production workflows, including media transfer, file management and asset organization.
• Assist with setup, deployment and troubleshooting of cameras, lighting, audio and editing software.
