Job summary

Civitas Senior Living's Harvest of Aledo is seeking a Cook who brings creativity and teamwork to the kitchen. You will prepare meals from established recipes, present dishes well, and help maintain safety and hygiene standards in a caring senior living environment.

You will work with a friendly culinary team, support inventory needs, follow FIFO, and participate in ongoing training to grow your skills and contribute to a warm, nutritious dining program.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or similar setting.
• Ability to follow established recipes and plating standards.
• Commitment to kitchen safety and sanitation protocols.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate and support a senior living dining program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned meals following recipes and standards.
• Maintain temperature charts and food safety records.
• Assist in organizing kitchen, storage, and dish areas.
• Notify Chef of inventory needs and support ordering.
• Uphold personal hygiene and Civitas standards.
