Job summary

Aquent Talent seeks a Creative Systems Developer to design, build, and maintain internal tools, APIs, and the infrastructure powering a global creative production environment. You’ll work across systems, networking, security, and desktop teams to keep designers productive and systems reliable.

Role focuses on automation, Kubernetes deployments, and cloud infrastructure with opportunities to learn from experienced engineers and contribute to architectural roadmaps in a fast-paced media setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in systems engineering, DevOps or sysadmin (media/creative environments preferred).
• Experience with high-performance storage and data backups.
• Experience using AI-assisted development to accelerate tasks and workflows.
• Strong Python for APIs, automation, and tooling; solid Linux shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor global storage systems; ensure redundancy and backups.
• Build automation tooling in Python and shell to streamline operations.
• Deploy and scale internal services on Kubernetes clusters.
• Write documentation for APIs, tools, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architectural roadmap.
