Job summary

Perrin Sportswear in Comstock Park, MI, seeks a creative graphic designer to join our 9-person art department. You’ll design for apparel items like t-shirts, fleece, caps, pants, totes and more, pushing fresh, modern looks for collegiate and souvenir lines.

Ideal candidates bring six years of experience in retail/resort/collegiate apparel, a strong portfolio, and mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Six years experience designing for retail, resort or collegiate apparel markets preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
• Strong portfolio backed with designs made for garments, wearables and more.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or similar.
• Knowledge of the screen printing and embroidery process and limitations is key.
• Mastery of Adobe CS, CC
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, multi-project environment.
• Adjusts to shifting priorities.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Accepts suggestions and revisions easily.

Responsibilities

• Designs for t-shirts, fleece, pants, caps, totes, coasters and other souvenir items.
• Join our art department of 9 graphic designers to create apparel designs.
• Collaborate with the Creative team to push decorated apparel to the next level.
