Job summary

Techstyles Sportswear is seeking a detail-oriented Production Artist to support our U.S. sales teams by creating location-based artwork for apparel and merchandise.

You will work with the Creative Director and customers to identify designs, adapt catalog artwork, and develop new pieces while ensuring accuracy and brand consistency. The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a Production Artist, proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Illustrator/Photoshop), and strong typography and layout

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of professional experience as a Production Artist.
• Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with strong expertise in Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong typography, layout, composition, and color management skills.
• Experience preparing production-ready artwork for printing or product decoration.
• T-shirt design and screen-printing production experience is a plus.
• Experience with hardgoods (HG), drinkware, or related merchandise is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Techstyles Sportswear, a growing resort-wear apparel company, is seeking a talented, detail-oriented Production Artist to join our Creative Team.

The Production Artist will support our U.S. sales representatives by creating and adapting location-based designs for their respective markets. This position works closely with the Creative Director, sales representatives, and customers to identify design needs, utilize artwork from our existing design catalog, and develop new designs as needed.

The ideal candidate is creative, technically skilled, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail, accuracy in spelling and typography, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Candidates must have at least three years of experience as a Production Artist. Previous experience with hardgoods (HG), drinkware, or related product decoration is a plus.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and prepare location-based artwork for apparel and other merchandise.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director, sales representatives, and customers to develop designs that meet customer and regional market needs.
• Utilize and adapt artwork from the existing design catalog while maintaining design quality and consistency.
• Prepare production-ready artwork and files according to printing and production specifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Apply strong typography, layout, and design skills to ensure accuracy and visual appeal.
• Review artwork for spelling, placement, color accuracy, and overall quality before production.
• Support artwork preparation for screen printing, hardgoods, drinkware, and other decoration processes as needed.
• Assist with technical aspects of the art process, including file preparation, production requirements, workflow coordination, and task prioritization.
• Communicate with Customer Relations, Hardgoods, and Production teams to identify and resolve artwork or production-related issues.
• Prepare and export artwork in PDF and other required formats for printing, production, and physical samples.
• Manage multiple design requests while meeting established deadlines and production schedules.
• Maintain organized artwork files and properly document design revisions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
