Job summary

Mum's Floral & Home in the heart of our community is seeking a creative Floral Designer to join our fast-paced retail shop. This part-time position focuses on crafting fresh and dried arrangements, assisting customers, and helping with events and shop displays.

Qualifications

• Experience in floral design or a willingness to learn with an eye for color and composition.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to educate customers on products.
• Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proficiency with iPad/iMac for taking orders and processing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Floral Design: create fresh, dried, and wreath arrangements and plant displays.
• Fulfilling in-person or online orders with attention to detail.
• Assist customers on the sales floor and process orders on the computer/iPad.
• Keep wrap racks stocked and contribute to shop upkeep and displays.
• Support events, installations, and seasonal retail displays.
